Saved Without A Doubt - how to be sure of your salvation

Like a good doctor, John MacArthur does not treat the symptom of doubt by just prescribing faith as the antidote and does not tell us to just believe. He understands the struggle we go through when doubts assail us.
He goes instead into the heart of the problem, which is the problem of the heart and asks the more searching questions:

Are you saved?

By whom are you saved?
He gives what The Word of God tells us about the salvation won by our Lord Jesus Christ. He does not shy away from the difficult verses in the Word of God with regards to this salvation.
He then gives us the diagnostic tests to help us determine the state of our spiritual health.
And finally, he gives us the instructions, the steps we must take towards experiencing the reality of this salvation in our lives. And at the end of it all, it is Jesus who holds us from beginning to end - the Author and Finisher of our Faith. (KJV Heb. 12:2)
So, this book is not just for the doubters but for the faithful because it is good to have a regular spiritual checkup and to also get the booster shots for our immune systems against viral attacks of the most evil kind - doubt.
